Description F. DUANE ACKERMAN, 67, Director since 2007. Mr. Ackerman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BellSouth Corporation from 1997 to 2006, as Chairman of its board of directors from 1998 to 2006 and as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to 1997. In these roles, Mr. Ackerman gained extensive experience supervising finance, supply chain, marketing, sales, international, information technology and real estate functions. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BellSouth Telecommunications, a local telephone service unit and the largest subsidiary of BellSouth Corporation, from 1992 to 1995.
