T. Robert Burke, J.D.
Description Mr. Burke is one of the founders (in 1983) of the predecessor to AMB Property Corporation. From November 1997 to December 1999, Mr. Burke was our Chairman of the Board. He was formerly a senior real estate partner with Morrison & Foerster LLP and, for two years, served as that firm?s Managing Partner for Operations. Mr. Burke graduated from Stanford University and holds a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School. Mr. Burke is a former member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Stanford University. Mr. Burke is also the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association. As a result of these and other professional experiences, Mr. Burke possesses particular knowledge and experience about AMB and in the real estate and real estate investment trust industry that strengthen the Board?s collective qualifications, skills and experience.
