H. Lawrence Culp
Description Mr. Culp has served on Danaher?s Board of Directors and as Danaher?s President and Chief Executive Officer since May 2001. He is also a member of the board of directors of GlaxoSmithKline plc. Mr. Culp joined the Company in 1990 and served in leadership positions in a variety of different functions and businesses before his promotion to President and CEO in 2001. His broad operating and functional experience and in-depth knowledge of Danaher?s businesses and of the Danaher Business System are particularly valuable given the complex, diverse nature of Danaher?s portfolio. His insights and perspective from serving on the board of one of the world?s largest pharmaceutical companies have also proved valuable to Danaher.
