Furmanite offers its services and products primarily to petroleum refineries, chemical plants, mining operations, offshore energy production platforms, subsea piping systems, steel mills, nuclear and conventional power stations, pulp and paper mills, food and beverage processing plants, and other flow-process facilities. It operates in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific. The company was formerly known as Xanser Corporation and changed its name to Furmanite Corporation in May 2007.
