Dr. Alderman is 59. Dr. Alderman, a certified public accountant and former Torchmark Professor of Accounting at Auburn University, brings a wealth of strategic planning expertise and public accounting knowledge to the Board. He also brings valuable insight and banking knowledge as a result of his service as the bank?s Director of Financial Operations from 2000 to 2007, in addition to serving as a director of the Bank since 1993.
