Description AusQuest Limited engages in the exploration and evaluation of mineral resources in Australia, Africa, and Peru. It primarily explores for gold, manganese, iron-oxide, copper, nickel, zinc, lead, silver, and base metals. The company owns 100% interests in the Comoe project comprising 7 exploration permits covering an area of approximately 920 square kilometers located in the south-west corner of Burkina Faso, West Africa; the Stanley project, which covers an area of approximately 2,300 square kilometers located within the Earaheedy Basin in Western Australia; and the Dundas gold project that covers an area of approximately 560 square kilometers located to the east-southeast of Norseman in Western Australia. It also owns 100% interests in the Earoo project located in the Yilgarn region of WA; and the Teriwa copper-gold project located to the southwest of Mt Isa in Western Queensland. In addition, the company has a joint venture interest with Cliffs Natural Resources Exploration Inc in the iron oxide copper gold and phorphyry copper deposits located in south-western Peru.
