Description Mr. Harrington has been one of our Independent Trustees since 1995. Mr. Harrington has been the Chairman of the Board of the Yawkey Foundations (charitable trusts) from 2002 to 2003 and from 2007 to the present, served as one of their trustees since 1982 and as Executive Director from 1982 to 2006. He was also a trustee of the JRY Trust from 1982 through June 2009. Mr. Harrington was the Chief Executive Officer and General Partner of the Boston Red Sox Baseball Club from 1986 to 2002 and served as the organization's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer prior to that time. He was the President of Boston Trust Management Corp. from 1981 to 2006 and a principal of Bingham McCutchen Sports Consulting LLC from 2007 to 2008. Mr. Harrington has been an Independent Trustee of SNH and of GOV since 1999 and 2009, respectively, and served as an Independent Director of Five Star from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Harrington has been an Independent Trustee of the RMR Funds since their respective formations beginning in 2002.
