
Description ACTIA Group, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells electronic equipment for the buoyant vehicle and telecommunications markets in France and internationally. It operates in two divisions, Automotive and Telecommunications. The Automotive division offers diagnostic equipment, software, and diagnostic services for manufacturers and their after-sales service, repair and servicing networks, garages, and technical inspection centers; and embedded systems for commercial and specialist vehicles, including multiplexing, tachograph systems, infotainment solutions. It also engages in deployment of hardware and software solutions and services for fleet management applications, such as public transit systems, transport of goods, vehicle rental, and special vehicles; and provides subcontracting services for electronics manufacturing for third parties and long-term maintenance. This divisions products include multi-make diagnostic tools for trucks, buses, and utility vehicles; testing and repair equipment for light vehicles, utility vehicles, and trucks; and embedded systems for buses, coaches, trucks, work vehicles, farm vehicles, trains, boats, and planes. The Telecommunications division designs and produces satellite telecommunication earth station equipment; equipment for analog and digital TV and radio broadcasting, including transmitters and gapfillers, encoders and decoders, microwave links, and satellite receivers; control and command equipment for energy network transmission and distribution grid; and equipment for catenaries networks of railway operators. This division also provides telecom network infrastructure solutions; solutions for private network telecommunication and wireless transmissions; and embedded systems for the aeronautics, defense, and railways fields. The company was formerly known as Actielec Technologies and changed its name to ACTIA Group in September 2008. ACTIA Group was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Toulouse, France.
