Tyree Wilburn
Description Mr. Wilburn was elected a director in 1996. Since 2003, Mr. Wilburn has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Merit Health Systems, LLC, a private hospital management company. He was a private investor from 1996 to 2002. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Wilburn was Chief Development Officer of Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CYH), and, most recently, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Development Officer and CEO-elect. He led the go-private sale of Community Health in 1996 to Forstmann Little. From 1974 to 1992, Mr. Wilburn was with Humana Inc. where he held senior and executive positions in mergers and acquisitions, finance, planning, hospital operations, audit and investor relations.
